“Tomorrow, same place, same time?” With these words I just said goodbye to Bart, a good friend of mine. In 15 minutes our lectures will start again. Which is a pity because I would have liked to stay on the ice for some more ice-skating.
I live in the citycenter of Wageningen from where it is only a few minutes walking to get to the floodplains. This is the ideal place to go, during lunchtime between my lectures, for ice-skating. It’s just a short walk and you really feel like you’re in nature!
In summertime this place is crowded with people who go there for a swim and barbeque. But now there is ice, a lot of people from Wageningen go there for a few laps on their skates. Some of them have been busy to get the ice free of snow, so you will definitely enjoy it!
